Getting to the root cause of an issue can take time. It can even feel inefficient to discuss. But by leaning into techniques such as The Five Whys or Peeling the Onion, we have the opportunity to deliver a more effective and long-lasting positive impact for our teams.
Alley is committed to strengthening and growing our efforts to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization. We created a pledge to help hold us accountable to our goals while providing a way to track our progress. We also included several steps we plan to take to further this initiative internally and among partners and clients in our industry. You can read our full pledge here: alley.co/dei
We’ve partnered with organizations that have long been committed to these goals and are experts in improving these efforts across organizations. Open to All, and organizations like these, provide resources, education, and support. That’s why we’ve decided to pledge our support to Open to All, a national nonprofit campaign based around the idea that everyone should be welcome regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, immigration status, religion, or disability.
They offer resources to help your teammates and your organization learn and engage around different concepts. Organizations like Open to All provide us with the expertise, focus, and training we need to help us achieve our goals towards creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive community at Alley and beyond.
We look forward to partnering and working with even more organizations in 2021 and beyond.
